The Indian capital has a wealth of hardware stores, and they all have a strong presence in the capital.
There are many antique hardware stores in Delhi, and some of the best ones are listed here.
The following are the best antique hardware shops in Delhi:Aldebaran (24) and his wife, Shauna, have been collecting antique door hardware for more than 25 years.
Aldebaran was the first person to set up a workshop in the city and opened the shop in 1990.
“In the past 10 years, I have been working as a shopkeeper.
I have collected antique doors for the last 25 years,” he said.
Shauna also started the shop after her husband started collecting antique doors and she is the founder of the store.
“We started the store because we had a lot of vintage door hardware.
We started with the cheapest hardware and kept getting more and more expensive.
The more we collected the more we got addicted,” she said.
Aldegaran sells vintage door and window hardware in different colours.
He says he has been collecting for the past 25 years, and now sells antique door and door hinges and hinges.
“It’s a huge undertaking.
I work from the day I open my shop until I close.
I collect every day,” he explained.
Alfred (38) has been making antique door hinges for more years than he cares to count.
“I love antique door hangers and hinges,” he claimed.
“The first time I tried to buy a hinge for a door, I went to Aldebar and bought them at the lowest price,” he added.
“Then, I realised that there are many other people who have made the same thing.
I thought to myself, why not make my own?”
I started the business because I needed a reliable and affordable product, he added, adding that he started the workshop to give a little back to his community.
“Aldemar is the place where I work every day.
I take care of the business from day one,” Alfred said.
Sidhu (23) has lived in Delhi for over 10 years and works at the antique hardware shop.
“As soon as I started working here, I started collecting and selling antique door equipment.
I started by collecting hinges and hangers, and as time went by, I began selling antique doors as well,” Sidhu said.
“Since the beginning, I am selling antique hinges and door hardware in Delhi.
It is a very rewarding work.
I am happy to be able to do this,” Sidhan said.
He sells antique doors, hinges, hinges and other antique door parts.
Sidhu says he collects hinges and handles all the rest of the work.
“I do my best to get as much as possible out of my old equipment.
The quality of the materials used is better than the ones I have now.
I also get paid for the time I spend working on the door.
I do my utmost to ensure that my antique door is working as it should,” Sidhus said.
